Check Challenge Appeal was introduced with effect from the 2017 rating list in England & the 2023 list in Wales.

 

CCA Registration Process

Part 1 'Registering' 

 

  • Once you have clicked on the above link, scroll down to ‘Which Type of Account Would you Like to Create?’. Choose ‘Organisation’ .  

 

  • You will then be asked to enter your details and be asked for your Passport No/N.I number to verify your identity.  

 

Part 2 – 'Property Linking'

  • Once registered, your properties then need linking/claiming. To complete this process you will require a current rates demand or utility bill.

 

  • Find your business rates valuation on the website. You can search by postcode. 

 

  • The current rates bill for your property needs to be scanned to desktop as a PDF and uploaded as confirmed by the Valuation Office Agency website.

 

Part 3 – 'Appoint 'Rates Ease' as your Acting Agent'

  • Assign your properties which have been claimed to Rates Ease.  To complete this process, you should click ‘Home’ on your Dashboard and scroll down to ‘Agents’

 

  • Click on ‘Appoint an Agent’, enter our Agent Code of '392661'

 

  • Click Yes to Submit Checks and Yes to Submit Challenges then Continue.

Appoint Rates Ease and allow us to do the rest
